With five daughters who bring the drama the way hers do, Evelyn Braxton has found a way to put her moderating skills to good use.
The Braxton family matriarch, who can be seen still cracking the whip, figuratively, on TV’s “Braxton Family Values,” is now counseling people, she told Sister 2 Sister.
She’s successfully held her family together despite sisterly disputes that do sometimes need the attention of someone less invested and with more experience; however, few would deny that refereeing arguments between Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar earns her a degree from the school of life.
Evelyn will likely be passing on her motherly wisdom to the youngest of her daughters, Tamar, who just announced her first pregnancy. Though she’s in her 30s and just released her first solo album, Evelyn said Tamar isn’t working off of her own schedule.
“Those babies don’t care. Everything is in God’s design. I can’t wait ‘til [the baby] gets here,” Evelyn said.
