Kim Kardashian wants her baby with Kanye West to see everyone as equals no matter what their race.
In just a few months, Kim and Kanye will be proud parents. While it’s not clear whether their little bundle of joy will favor mom or dad more, Kim knows one quality her baby will have.
“I have a lot of friends who are of all different nationalities and their children are bi-racial so they’ve talked to me a little bit about it and what to expect,” Kim told BET while promoting her upcoming movie Temptation.“The most important thing is, the way I want to raise my children is to not see color. That’s important to me.”
After that, Kim admits that she’s pretty much just going to be winging it with the whole motherhood thing–like most new parents do. “There are experiences that you won’t really know how to prepare for until you really go through it but raising a child in general is challenging,” she said.
The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star doesn’t want to get locked into any rules about the right and wrong way to raise a child. She intends to go with her gut on what she believes will be best for he baby, so that it can have the fullest life possible.
“I think that as long as you are open-minded and don’t have any pre-conceived ideas of how you’re really going to try to raise your children, it really keeps this broad spectrum,” said Kim. “Obviously, you want your child to travel the world and experience different races and different cultures everywhere. So that’s really important to me is to just give them as much information as I could.”
