If you watched the first season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” you know that Momma Dee is a character, to say the least. Rapper Lil Scrappy’s no-holds-barred, ride-or-die mommy is back this season and ready to give you more.
“My experience has been so surreal. Very much overwhelming,” she told Sister 2 Sister. “The world has taken us in as its own and [people] recognize the realness” in comparison to “Love & Hip Hop: New York,” Momma Dee said. “The South is just different. We think totally different than they do. We see things differently. We interact differently than they do.”
And if you thought last year’s record-breaking season was memorable, expect more from the upcoming season. “There has been a shaking up in the palace,” Momma Dee said. “I can’t wait for the world to see the next season of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.’ What you think it’s gonna be, it ain’t gonna be. Second season is going to make the first season look stupid.”
