‘RHOA’ Reunion Part 3: 5 Lessons Learned

    1. Marriage is Hard
    Real Housewives of Atlanta

The happiest couple on the stage during the “RHOA” season 5 reunion seemed to be Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, the only twosome that isn’t yet officially married. While NeNe and Gregg Leakes, and Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas were getting along fine, fans know that they’ve had their troubles, too. As for Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida, their drama revolves around co-star Kenya Moore, who’s been accused of propositioning Apollo.

Believe it or not, the accusations toward Kenya didn’t make for the most scandalous marital drama. It was obvious that Walter Jackson wasn’t the only man missing from the “RHOA” season 5 reunion. Porsha Stewart’s husband, Kordell, was MIA, too. She explained that he had to work, and viewers around the world offered a side-eye at how lame a reason that was to miss a TV appearance.

Knowing that only a week after they taped the reunion, Porsha was served with divorce papers, it was downright painful to watch her tear up and defend her husband and shout about her commitment to her marriage.

It remains to be seen whether Kordell and Porsha work things out, but no matter the outcome, the couple—and their reality TV counterparts—have made it clear that marriage is not easy, and reality TV cameras don’t help.
