The show even has its own Madea-esque character, Hattie Mae Love, who is the matriarch of the family. She’s taking care of her adult children and their families, but “puts her foot down and shows the toughest love there is by sending Linda and Danny to the door,” reads the site.
Linda and Danny, Hattie’s daughter and son, must learn to be independent and live life without relying on mama, who owns her own diner, known as the Love Train.
“Through all the changes, there is one constant, and that is the universal language called Love,” according to the press release.
