The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office completed Chris’ autopsy yesterday and it found that no foul play was behind his sudden passing on Wednesday. The rapper, 34, was found unresponsive in his home before being rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities investigating Chris’ death suspect that he may have died of an overdose. TMZ.com reports that his mother said Chris had an “extensive history of drug use” and she had taken him home to recover from his latest hit.
He had supposedly had a speedball, which is a combination of cocaine and heroin, the night before he died.
E! News reports that no official cause of death has been announced at this time as authorities are waiting on the results of toxicology test.
