Just in time for Mother’s Day, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks gave birth to her second son with her hubby Apollo Nida Wednesday.
After revealing her pregnancy last December, Phaedra later announced that she had to be careful with this pregnancy because she had been diagnosed with placenta previa, which is a condition where the placenta lies lower than normal in the uterus, which could’ve caused her to go into premature delivery. But we’re happy to announce that a rep from Phaedra’s camp confirmed that: “Mom and baby are happy and healthy,” US Weekly reported.
The southern belle’s new bundle of joy weighed in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and this little prince makes three men in the household now, but Phaedra hasn’t given up on having her girl just yet.
“I would entertain a third child, but I would have to guarantee that it was a little girl. I think that would be plenty after that,” she told In Touch magazine in an interview.
Nonetheless, the couple is excited for their firstborn Ayden, 2, to meet his younger brother although he’d hoped for a sister. The reality star gushed saying that he’d be a great brother because, “he likes to help and he’s so smart.”
Besides her new motherly duties, the Georgia peach recently landed her own spinoff titled, “Rich People’s Problems” which is said to focus on her legal career in Atlanta.
