Beyoncé couldn’t stay away from the stage or her fans despite her doctor’s strong recommendations.
Much to the disappointment of many loyals, Bey had to cancel a show in Belgium on Tuesday due to a bout of exhaustion. For a while it looked like she might have been taking a two-night break, but she returned to the stage on Wednesday despite her doctor’s continued order that she take it easy.
Beyoncé felt so bad about the cancellation that she promised ticket holders that she would make it up to them in a hand-written apology. As her show opened last night, Beyoncé informed her fans that it would have been impossible for her to sit out two nights in a row.
“I just have to say, I feel so good to be on this stage. I have the best fans in the world,” Bey said before wishing one very lucky fan a happy birthday. “My doctors told me not to perform tonight. But there’s no way in the world. You all give me so much inspiration. And I just want to thank you guys.
The initial no-show added a little more weight to the rumors that Beyoncé is expecting again. Though whispers about pregnancy are nothing new for the diva, who has remained silent on the latest gossip, her mother shut down reports that Bey and hubby Jay-Z are expecting baby no.2.
“No it’s not true right now,” Tina Knowles told “Access Hollywood” earlier this week, assuring the outlet that Bey and Hov still have plans to expand their family. “It’s gonna happen when it’s time but not right now.”
