Tamar Braxton, Tamera Mowry-Housely get ‘Real’ talk show

Tamar Braxton and Tamera Mowry-Housely will be adding a little more flavor to daytime TV with their new talk show!

Deadline.com reports that the ladies will be joining the cast of a new roundtable, tentatively titled “The Real.” Adrienne Bailon, comedian Loni Love and style expert Jeannie Mai will be rounding out the panel, which is entirely made up of ethnic women.

Like their contemporaries on “The View” and “The Talk,” the ladies of “The Real” will be dishing about hot topics and discussing lifestyle while having lots of fun with the audience. A test run of “The Real” will be airing on Fox affiliates in select markets starting July 8, and Telepictures Productions is aiming to have it picked up nationwide for fall.

Tamar already has some experience as part of a panel since she was a very vocal part of “Tiny Tonight” when it aired two specials on VH1. And we imagine that having her and Tamera on the show will appeal to a lot of new moms. It seems that Telepictures is also skewing for a slightly younger audience as everyone on the panel is under 40 years old.
