Kenya Moore may be moving out, but she has no plans of moving on without a fight.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta “star has turned the tables on her landlord and is now countersuing for wrongful eviction, slander and emotional distress, according to TMZ.com.
On June 4, RadarOnline.com reported that her landlord, Conya Weems-Dillion filed a lawsuit for Kenya’s eviction from her $3999-a-month six-bedroom, six-bathroom rental, where she stayed during her time spent filming the season 5 of “RHOA.” Conya claims that the former Miss USA was short $848 on her rent in May and broke terms of the lease agreement.
Kenya is speaking out, claiming she paid May and June rent in full. In her countersuit, Kenya alleges that her landlord “made up the conflict” about her falling behind on her rent so she could sell the story with the intention of “damage her rep.”
Radar Online reports that Conya is “incredibly upset at what is unwanted attention that has been caused as a result of Kenya moving into the neighborhood” and “has been inundated with complaints ever since she moved in” to the Roswell, GA neighborhood.
Until the matter is settled, Kenya is living the fabulous life while focusing on her music career, and promoting the release of her new fitness video, Booty Boot Camp.
