How to do her hair
By far, when we got serious responses to our question, hair was the biggest concern. Baby KimYe’s hair texture has yet to be formed. It’s assumed by many that Kim’s daughter will have a coarser grade of hair. If this is true, then it would be good for Kim to find someone that knows how to care for African-American hair.
It would also be a good idea for Kim to learn some of the basic differences of cleaning, conditioning and styling. Black hair doesn’t need to be washed every day, but someone should grease the baby’s scalp when it’s looking a little dry. Black hair doesn’t need a whole bunch of processing, but wash-and-go techniques are a lot different. Satin pillowcases are not just a luxury, they’re a necessity for maintaining healthy Black hair–but a satin bonnet or head wrap will suffice. Those are just a few things we could mention.
Since Kim has an expert glam squad on hand at all times, we’re sure finding one more pro with the best skills to care for her daughter’s head will be no problem.
