The hits keeps coming for Chris Brown who is could be heading to prison over an alleged hit-and-run.
TMZ.com reports that the “Don’t Judge Me” singer has been charged with criminal hit-and-run in connection with his fender-bender last month. That’s when Chris rear-ended a Mercedes; he refused to hand over his drivers’ license and gave the other driver fake insurance information before leaving the scene.
The Los Angeles City Attorney has now filed two criminal charges against him: one for hit-and-run and the other for failing to hand over the correct information. Since this would be a violation of his probation, Chris is facing up to four years in prison.
This comes a day after Chris denied allegations that he assaulted a woman in a nightclub over the weekend. Deanna Gines claims that Chris deliberately shoved her to the ground at Heat Lounge Ultra on Saturday. Allegedly he pushed her so hard she landed on her knee and may need surgery. She’s currently getting around on crutches with a leg brace.
Authorities in Anaheim confirm that Deanna did file a report on the alleged assault, but the club’s owner said she’s lying about the whole thing.
“Based on the information which we have gathered from our security company, mall security, and other party goers which were at HEAT on Saturday night” the owner told TMZ. “It is apparent that the alleged incident regarding Chris Brown is false. Staff and security did what they had to do…he [Chris] was a complete gentleman.”
