Lil Mama fills in for Left Eye at TLC show

    TLC reunited with a new addition to the group this weekend for a performance at VH1’s Mixtape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

    Does the “L” in TLC now stand for Lil Mama?

    Chilli and T-Boz performed hits like “Unpretty” and Creep before being joined by rapper/actress Lil Mama to perform “No Scrubs.” Lil Mama is set to play the late Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopez in VH1’s CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.

    Rumors have been swirling that Lil Mama would be replacing Left-Eye for the groups next album. Although the group confirmed that Lil Mama will be joining them on their next release, T-boz was quick to point out that Left-Eye will not be replaced.

    According to, T-boz said, “I’m sick of all y’all cyber bullies. People hiding behind computers, y’all got so much to say. We said, ‘We will never replace her.’ Are we clear?!”

    The group’s compilation album will feature classic songs in addition to new songs produced by producers like Ne-Yo and Lady Gaga. “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” is set to premiere October 21 on VH1.
