Erica Dixon and Lil Scrappy had to make a hasty exit from the set of the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” season 2 reunion due to a family emergency.
Yesterday we ran a slideshow of pictures from the set of the reunion. Suspiciously, neither Erica Dixon nor Lil Scrappy were in any of the shots, but Momma Dee was.
This led many to wonder whether Scrappy and Erica had decided to skip the taping, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. In video of Mimi and Joseline’s fight, Erica is sitting right beside show creator/executive produce Mona Scott Young. Clearly the pair, were there for at least the beginning of the show.
So what happened? Some of our tipsters said that Erica and Scrappy had an emergency with their daughter Emani, and a look back at Erica’s Twitter timeline does suggest that something happened to Emani.
Without going into detail about what happened, Erica tweeted on July 13, “My baby finally attempted to smile today!!! She’s healing fast physically and mentally. Thanx to everyone for their prayers and concerns.”
Fans will have to wait and see what pulled Erica and Scrappy away from the taping, when part 1 of the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” season 2 finale airs August 5 at 8 p.m. on VH1.
