Even though she wasn’t a part of it, D.Woods was just as excited for Danity Kane’s reunion announcement as the fans were.
“Much love to the ladies of DK!! They have decided to reunite and I, like our amazing fans, will be cheering them on,” D.Woods said in a statement to Us Weekly. She’s spoken about her decision not to hook up with the girls this time on several occasions, noting that she doesn’t have time for a reunion at the moment since she’s working on her own music, but she might have more on her plate than that. “I have recently signed on to several projects that will have me committed for the next year. My latest single “Gold Mine” is now available everywhere!”
D.Woods noted that she wouldn’t rule out the possibility of joining the girls down the line. “If the opportunity presents itself, I would definitely be open to recording and/or performing with Danity Kane again,” she said. “I appreciate all the love and support of DK and myself. God bless!”
Haters that were looking for D.Woods to be bitter about missing out on the reunion were out of luck. She reiterated her support on Sunday night as MTV aired the VMA pre-show.
“There’s alot of people talking, but there’s nothing but love” she wrote on Instagram. “Today’s #GOLDMINEOFTHEDAY is none other than @Aubreyoday, @shannon_bex,@dawnrichard, @aundreafimbres1 otherwise known as @danitykane.”
She added, “Don’t think you know their whole story cuz you watched part of their jounrey on MTV. These ladies are just getting started. Stay tuned…WERRRK!”
