Kanye West strikes back at Brandy’s ‘little sister’ Ray J

    Kanye West, Ray J

Mr. West is in the building! Kanye West made that clear last night with his surprise appearance and performance on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.”

Fans never know what to expect from Kanye who offered a surprising rendition of “Bound 2,” one of the most popular songs off of his latest album, Yeezus.

What made this performance special besides him being accompanied by Charlie Wilson and The Roots? Well, during this version of “Bound 2,” Kanye added a little something extra. He included a small freestyle at the beginning with these lyrics:

“Brandy’s little sister lame man he know it now. When a real brother hold you down, you ‘sposed to drown.”

Yikes! The verse was clearly a straight, no chaser diss directed toward Brandy’s younger brother, Ray J, who has previously aimed a few lyrical disses in Kanye’s direction. Some would say this was a long time coming and ‘Bound 2’ happen with all the jabs that Ray J has been making at West.

From Ray J’s single, “I Hit It First,” in which he brags about sleeping with sex-tape co-star Kim Kardashian, the mother of Kanye’s infant daughter, to too many side comments and sly remarks about Kanye, Ray J arguably had this coming! If Ray J wanted attention, Kanye obliged.

It would be no shock if Ray J responded with a reckless tweet or made another inappropriate song.

While the two may be engaging in sidebar beef, they’re both still hustling, but in very different ways. Ray J is rumored to be starring in an upcoming “Love & Hip Hop: LA” spin-off. Kanye’s Yeezus tour is scheduled to begin on October 19 in Seattle. Tickets go on sale, this Friday, September 13. If history is any indication, fans can expect a few more surprises from Mr. West.
