K.Michelle disappointed fans in Atlanta over the weekend when she missed her scheduled gig V103′s For Sisters Only.
Had everything gone to plan on Saturday, K.Michelle and her rival Tamar Braxton would have graced the exact same stage. Both ladies had been booked to perform at the event on September 14, where Kandi Burruss and Toya Wright also made an appearance. Unfortunately, when it K.Michelle’s turn to take the stage, she was nowhere to be found.
K.Michelle and Tamar have been trading barbs for months. Most recently, they’ve been throwing shade over album saless for Rebellious Soul and Love And War respectively. K.Michelle tried to make nice by showing Tamar some love on Instagram, but the “Tamar And Vince” star was not moved by the gesture.
Knowing their history But before anyone could assume that she opted out of the show last minute because of Tamar, she hit up Twtter to explain her absence. It seems that she had to skip out on FSO due to technical problems, not personal ones.
“I couldn’t hit the stage today at #FSO due to technical issues with my band,” she tweeted Saturday, promising that she would make it up to her fans in Atlanta. “I am working with my @V103Atlanta family now and we will announce something VERY SPECIAL! Very soon.”
