Tami Roman’s tweet wasn’t clearly directed at anyone specific, but many question whether the “Basketball Wives” star’s comment was aimed at co-star Evelyn Lozada.
Recently, Evelyn shared that she and Tami haven’t been communicating. While speaking about wanting her own spin-off series, Evelyn seemed to suggest that she’s primarily responsible for the series’ success.
“I know I can carry my own show, pretty much carried this one,” she said in reference to “Basketball Wives.”
Tami apparently took issue with Ev’s comments and tweeted, “When you start to believe your OWN hype, fame goes wrong ijs – I’ll stay in the humble lane…it rides better…”
Things between Tami, Evelyn and Shaunie O’Neal have been rough this season, and Tami told TT Torrez that she isn’t really speaking to Shaunie right now either.
“People have asked me do we speak since taping, and I said, ‘No, we don’t speak.’ Every girl called me when my mother passed and then I haven’t spoken to them since. Now, the shows are airing and I’m saying my opinion on the show. I don’t necessarily think that means I don’t like her or she doesn’t like me. So, I think that might have been taken out of context,” Tami told TT Torrez.
If there is serious tension between the ladies, that might explain the subtle posts between Tami and Evelyn that may or may not be a brewing Twitter beef.
After she posted her comment, Tami shared an Instagram photo that read: “Cut off fake people for real reasons, not real people for fake reasons.”
Not very long after, Evelyn wrote: “Why is it that people who post the most quotes on IG are the most full of sh*t!”
