Michelle Williams has some very clear ideas about what she does and does not want for her upcoming reality show.
Destiny’s Child fans shouldn’t expect to see Michelle’s reality show any time soon. It’s not that the show isn’t happening, but the “If We Had Your Eyes” singer and her team have to get a few things worked out before cameras start rolling.
Although she’s used to being in the spotlight, the big for Michelle is that her family be cool with sharing their lives with the world. “I think the announcement was a little premature, actually. I just want it to be right with me and my sisters,” Michelle told TheJasmineBrand.com. “Of course we have to show conflict for ratings and drama but I don’t want it to turn into a train-wreck. Because at the end of the day, I still have a life and career to have after this.”
Not to mention, that Michelle has yet to secure a network for the show. In the meantime, Michelle is just enjoying her time as she continues to bond with her family before things get too crazy as she promotes her new gospel album Journey To Me.
“I’ve missed thirteen years of my sister’s life. I’ve missed births, I’ve missed birthday parties,” said Michelle, who revealed that she had an illuminating moment when her family told her how much they had missed her while she was working with Destiny’s Child. “That hurt my heart. People don’t realize when you get into the business like this, you sacrifice family and all those.
She continued, “I can cry now thinking about like, ‘They miss me. They’ve got my back, but they don’t get to see me all the time.'”
