The McGhees share secret to romantic success

Six Little McGheesRozonno and Mia McGhee, parents of Columbus, Ohio’s first set of sextuplets, sat down with Sister 2 Sister senior editor Ericka Boston to dish on how they built such a strong foundation which allows them to be such a great team when it comes to raising their toddlers.

“My wife was my best friend before we even became boyfriend and girlfriend,” said Rozonno. “Like, for instance, the first year we were together, I wasn’t even wearing a mask. You know like people put on a show and they be acting and stuff; I didn’t have to do none of that.”

Mia was a little different, according to Rozonno. He jokes that he didn’t really get to know the real her, the not-so-good-of-a-cook her, until they moved in together. Mia found a solution. “She just kept buying pizza,” joked Rozonno.

    Smart woman.

Their playful relationship makes for a lot of laughs on their show “Six Little McGhees,” airing on Oprah’s OWN network.

Rozonno and Mia admit that every day isn’t perfect, which viewers can see on the show. Well you know what I learn, it’s all about trust. It’s about trust and compromising,” said Rozonno.

While keeping that trust and compromise between them, the McGhees are also balancing running their family business, McGhees’ Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning, and raising the kids—six toddlers—and it’s all unfolding for the entire world to see. Well, for everyone who tunes in to their show.

The show follows the lives of Rozonno, Mia and their 2-year-old toddlers Rozzono Jr. (The First Born), Olivia (The Drama Queen), Madison (The Prankster), Elijah (Momma’s Boy), Isaac (Happy Feet) and Josiah (The Charmer).

The show airs every Saturday at 10  p.m. EST on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
