Actress Bresha Webb is sure to keep viewers laughing as her outlandish and outrageously dressed character, Imunique Jefferson, in season 4 of TV One’s “Love That Girl,” which premieres tonight at 9:30 p.m. EST.
Season 1 star, Tatyana Ali, isn’t returning to the sitcom, which is executive produced by Martin Lawrence. So, season 2 will focus on Imunique’s relationship with her boss.
“I’m so excited about this season,” she told Sister 2 Sister. “Imunique is more in the forefront, and you’ll get more of an understanding of why she is as crazy as she is. You get to meet her family, see her talents and it allows you to really appreciate her innocence.”
Though she’s obviously won viewers’ affections, some might be relieved to know that Imunique and Bresha don’t have much in common.
“I’m not Imunique at all. I’m just a regular Baltimore chick who believed in God enough to follow her dreams,” she said.
