Supertrailer: ‘CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story’

As if there weren’t already enough reason to watch CrazySexyCool, a new supertrailer for TLC’s biopic has given us even more incentive to tune in!

Here are the top 3 things we can’t wait to see when CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story debuts October 21 at 9pm.

    1. The birth of TLC

Growing up, all we knew about TLC was that we loved their music and they always wore condoms as jewelry for some reason. It was assumed that the girls existed as a group before they went to record labels and hit it big, and we didn’t give the alternatives much thought over the years.

In the new teaser, though, we see that Pebbles added Chilli to the mix and the group made magic. Now, we’re just wondering how T-Boz and Left Eye came together.

    2. Video recreations

Admit it! You learned all of TLC’s dance routines, busting out the moves at parties and family get-togethers–some of you probably recreated the videos at home with your friends. Well, VH1 is going to take your favorite after-school hobby and do it a billion times better than you ever imagined!

    3. Lil Mama as Left Eye

Audiences haven’t gotten to see too many clips of Lil Mama playing Left Eye, and the supertrailer is finally giving potential viewers a better idea of what she can do with the role. There was some skepticism, of course, Lil Mama has seemingly tapped into her inner Lisa Lopez.

    4. Behind The Music

You’ve read the headlines about Left, T-Boz and Chilli, but now TLC fans will get a look into the drama the group endured outside of the studio.

    5. All Grown Up

How time flies! When the world first met Drew, Lil Mama and Keke, they were all child stars. Drew was busting a move in Step Up, Lil Mama was rapping about her lip gloss and KeKe was a spelling wiz kid in Akeela and The Bee.

Over the years we’ve seen them grow up, but CrazySexyCool will show them playing more mature roles. It will be interesting to see how they transition.
