Phaedra Parks was trying to be nice as she made the promotional rounds for her new book Secrets of a Southern Belle. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star made her way up to New York for a few apppearances, including a chat on “106 & Park.”
Immediately, Bow Wow and his co-host wanted to know what made Phaedra want to write a book like this now. “Well, with so much bad behavior–as you see on my show very often–I thoguht it was well time for someone much like myself to do it for our people,” she explained.
Phaedra shared that readers should expect “some good tips, a few recipes” and other points of etiquette about being a Southern Belle. But if there were one top piece of advice to being a belle, Phaedra said that it would be to “give your best and expect your best.”
Since she brought up the drama on her show, she share that one of her castmates in particular might want to pick up a copy
“To be honest, I think everyone can use this book,” said Phaedra. “I don’t want to say just one, but on my show [Kenya Moore] probably could use it the most.”
She concluded, “I’m going to give her a signed copy.”
