Phaedra Parks revealed that there was nothing personal about her decision not to handle Porsha Stewart’s divorce.
When you’re on the same reality show as a lawyer, one would think that you have built in legal counsel when you need it. During her run on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” so far, Phaedra’s handled Sheree Whitfield’s divorce and Kandi Burruss case against Kim Zolciak over “Tardy For The Party.” But when Porsha was looking for a divorce lawyer she was out of luck if she hoped Phaedra would represent her.
It’s not that Phaedra isn’t fond of Porsha, it’s just a professional rule that she has no plan on bending for any reason.
“I really don’t like divorces. I’ve never really liked divorces,” Phaedra told “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” on Monday. With her new baby Dylan murmuring in the background, Phaerda explained that she only made the decision once she was done working on a very high-profile split.
“After I worked with [Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston] through their divorce, I said I would never do another one,” Phaedra said. “I really don’t care to divorce people.”
