Kelly Rowland hasn’t made a big deal about her engagement to Tim Witherspoon and it seems she won’t be going all out for the wedding ceremony either.
The “X Factor” judge recently told People.com that it might just be the two of them and the preacher there when the knot is tied.
“I mean, we are the only two that’s going to be in the marriage,” reasoned Kelly, who hasn’t set a date yet.
Celebrity weddings are usually a big deal, attracting Hollywood A-listers and eager paparazzi hoping to get the best shot of the bride in her gown, and many stars have even opted to have their nuptials televised.
However, Kelly said she’s not interested in a big shindig or having to shell out a bunch of money for a reception.
“You have to pay for food for everyone and I’m not down with that,” she laughed.
Though feeding hundreds of guests can be a lot, what Kelly really wants to avoid is all the busybodies in her business.
“Everyone is there just to be nosy and see who I’m wearing, you know. I’m okay,’ she said.
