Mo’Nique is taking over hosting duties for the “Love & Hip Hop” season 4 reunion!
The rumors are true: After seeing her fair share of cast fights, Mona Scott-Young has decided that she no longer wants to moderate the “Love & Hip Hop” reunion.
Last month, we reported that a woman would be taking over for Mona. Some thought that LaLa Anthony would be a natural choice as she’s already a VH1 star, and she’s already familiar with hosting potentially unruly reunions for the network. Still others wondered if perhaps Wendy Williams might be taking over for Mona.
Now, after clicking through some behind-the-scenes shots from the reunion shoot last month, it seems that VH1 has made an unexpected choice. Mo is no stranger to presiding over a chat show as she had a pretty successful run with “The Mo’Nique Show” on BET.
But having Mo’Nique host the “Love & Hip Hop” season 4 reunion could prove to be a savvy move. The comedian would always have fun with her guests on her former late-night chat show, but she managed to keep things positive.
