Malorie Bailey Massie defends self-invitation

CynthiaPeterMalorie“Real Housewives of Atlanta” viewers weren’t too keen on Cynthia Bailey’s sister inviting herself to stay at the reality star’s home for more than a month.

On a recent episode, Malorie Bailey Massie popped up in Atlanta and informed Cynthia that she’d be a visitor in her home. When Cynthia relayed the news to hubby Peter Thomas, he was none too pleased.

“Am I crazy or are there rules to this $#!t?” Peter tweeted Sunday when Malorie’s self-invitation aired. “So you just move into people house without asking them?” he asked.

Though “RHOA” Twitter fans overwhelmingly agreed with Peter that Malorie should have gotten permission before announcing the length of her stay with Cynthia, Malorie argued that there was nothing wrong with her actions.

“Everybody shut up..I’m here help & support. Family is important. I will use my key when I get there. Wink,” she wrote.

If the tables were turned, Malorie said she wouldn’t have a problem with Peter or any other relative staying at her home unannounced.

“Family is always welcome at my house,” said Malorie who tried to justify her surprise stay by mentioning that Peter bought a new car without consulting Cynthia first.

While Cynthia shut that argument down quickly, Malorie tweeted that no topic is off limits for her when it comes to Cynthia.

“When [it] comes to my SISTER.. I can bring up whatever I want to. #BelieveThat,” she wrote. “If my sister @CynthiaBailey10 didn’t want me there I wouldn’t b there.”
