Meelah Williams is one of two new faces headed to “R&B Divas: Atlanta,” and she’s ready to give viewers what they want.
“I look good at all times, honey. We are giving you fashion, face, hair [and] cute body, yes!” Meelah told Sister 2 Sister about what she’s bringing to the show.
Along with her “feistiness” and “youthful appeal,” the former 702 member said she’s also hoping to shine a spotlight on autism.
“I’m bringing awareness to autism and special needs,” said Meelah whose son Zac has been diagnosed with the condition.
Of course when artists share their lives with TV viewers, that can bring a lot of positive exposure, but negative feedback, too.
“At first, I was a little “anti,” hesitant and reluctant, but then I realized how powerful it can be,” said Meelah.
LaTavia Roberson is also joining the cast which includes KeKe Wyatt, Angie Stone, Monifah and Syleena Johnson.
Musiq Soulchild, the father of Meelah’s son, talks about his son’s autism below. Watch.
Meelah talks about her new music in the April 2014 issue of Sister 2 Sister.
