Tamar Braxton wouldn’t blame Phaedra Parks for slapping Kenya Moore if she really is trying to mess around with Apollo Nida.
The latest episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” was not one of the show’s finest moments. But of all the drama on the last episode, the “Love and War” singer took particular issue with Kenya’s private conversation with Apollo. For Tamar, it’s just the most recent example of how Kenya has tried to intervene on Phaedra’s marriage.
“I do think there were several ratchet moments, but the one that sticks out to me the most was Ms. Kenya,” Tamar told “The Russ Parr Morning Show” this week. “I’m not talking about Kenya per se, but just any woman who feels like it’s okay to have somebody’s husband and have a conversation with them one on one.
She added, “And try to be friends with him and not the wife. That right there is slap nation moment, okay?”
From there, Tamar spun off and talked about any woman who has designs on a married man. “I’m sorry. I feel like I have to read all the Kenyas of the world who just be trying it and then come to the face of the wife and be like, ‘You need to ask him. I think he need to speak for himself,'” Tamar said before she got tough. “No hoe! I’ma speak for you, me and him! That’s my man.”
As a married woman, Tamar said that she’s not letting any other woman step to her hubby. If anyone is bold enough to try her, they may be in for a fight.
“I don’t like that stuff. You know, I’m real protective of my Teddy Ruxpin,” Tamar explained, pointing out that Kenya would never try messing with any of her other co-stars’ men. “I wish somebody would try me like that! I just feel like she tried Phaedra like that because she felt like she could. Now she wouldn’t try NeNe [Leakes] like that. See what I’m trying to say?”
