Tami Roman’s busy schedule was too much for her handle as she was rushed to the hospital after a fainting spell.
TheYBF.com reports that the “Basketball Wives” star had a medical emergency on Wednesday morning as she fainted due to diabetes-related stress and dehydration. Before her fans could panic too much, the VH1 reality star hopped on Instagram to assure them that she’s alive and well.
“You know I hate hospitals, but I’m here. Sneaking on this phone to let everyone know that I’m okay and thank you all for the well wishes. Be home soon,” Tami wrote. “Thank you to all family & friends for the get well wishes, prayers and flowers. I’ll be home soon.”
She didn’t tell fans what was wrong with her at the time, but Tami’s publicist later explained that she’s been working extremely hard and doing a lot of travel for work.
“Tami is rehabilitating at a private hospital in Houston and is expected to make a full recovery,” her rep said in a statement. “Tami is currently filming two TV shows, traveling back and forth between Houston & Los Angeles so her body became overwhelmed.”
Speaking of those two TV series, Tami’s fans already know that she’s working on her own spin-off “The Roman Empire.” It could be assumed that she’s working on season 6 of “Basketball Wives,” but that is not the case! Tami’s rep revealed that the reality star has actually signed on for a feature role on CBS’ upcoming series “Extant.”
If the title “Extant” sounds familiar, you might remember that Halle Berry will be staring in the Steven Spielberg-directed series as she plays an astronaut that is readjusting to life on Earth.
