“Single Ladies” might find a new home at BET after VH1 suddenly canceled the prime time soap opera weeks ago.
There’s buzz that “Single Ladies” fans may not have to say goodbye to Keisha, April and Raquel just yet!
AlwaysAList.com reports that producers hustled to see if any other network was interested in acquiring the “Single Ladies” series not long after hearing that VH1 was going to scrap the show.
Without mentioning which other networks have gotten a pitch to pick up VH1’s scripted series, it’s been suggested that BET is eyeing “Single Ladies” since it went back on the market. When asked whether rumors that BET might snag the show were true, a network rep coyly said, “We cannot comment at this time,”
If “Single Ladies” does move to BET, it would be the second show that the network has brought back from the TV graveyard. BET resurrected “The Game” in 2011, two years after it was knocked from The CW’s lineup.
While the gossip has yet to be confirmed by BET, this could be good news for those left feeling unsatisfied by the season 3 finale.
