While cast members and fans speculate about who may or may not be returning to “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kandi Burruss chimed in with her suggestions for season 7.
“I don’t think anybody needs to be kicked off the show. We had a record-breaking season and I think everyone needs to come back,” said Kandi who joked about one of the more outspoken husbands on the series. “Even the newest housewife, Peter [Thomas]. I feel like he’s hilarious.”
Bravo executive Andy Cohen said his team hasn’t started thinking about the season 7 cast yet, but viewers sure have. Blogs are buzzing about Porsha Williams’ predicted departure after her violent altercation with Kenya Moore. NeNe Leakes also seemed to think Kenya should leave until the “Dancing with the Stars” contestant began to question what her former reality TV BFF offered to the show.
“You don’t want anybody boring on the show,” said Kandi who promised her wedding special would be anything but that.
“Our wedding special is going to be off the chain,” she told the “Tom Joyner Morning Show” Tuesday. “Y’all are not going to wanna miss that.”
Bravo has not announced an airdate for the special, but Kandi said it’s coming soon and fans will get to see for themselves all the drama surrounding the ceremony, including Fantasia Barrino’s reception toast and Todd Tucker’s prenuptial agreement hesitation.
“He always said that he would sign it, but I guess after he had met with his attorney they were bringing up stuff that they felt like was unfair. It wasn’t anything to do with the money part,” said Kandi refuting rumors that Todd didn’t want to sign because he wanted more access to her coins. “My attorney had added some things…that would normally be in a will… It was some extra stuff.”
As for Fantasia’s expletive-laden toast, Kandi said she was disappointed to learn that some chose to try to turn that into a negative thing.
