Kenya Moore may finally have had enough of all the animosity on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and she’s thinking about leaving the show.
In the days leading up to Bravo’s airing of Kenya’s fight with Porsha Williams at the “RHOA” season 6 reunion, there’s been much discussion among fans about which of the ladies should be fired from the show. Most viewers are very vocal that they believe Kenya needs to booted from Bravo’s basket of peaches, and the former Miss USA thinks they might be right.
Kenya told the Associated Press on Monday that she’s actually thinking about leaving the show after her fight with Porsha.
“We all agree that we don’t condone violence,” Kenya said, adding that mean comments and over-the-top antics are nothing new for the “RHOA” cast. “We’ve become angry with each other, we’ve threatened each other and gone to the edge. But at the end of the day, we know there’s a line. If there are no consequences, then where does it end?”
Kenya’s cast mates such as NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks believe that the beauty queen is totally to blame for the brawl, claiming the she provoked the recent divorcee with props including a bullhorn. Kenya sees it a little differently.
“I think Porsha was in a position to provoke me,” said Kenya. “If anyone is capable of blacking out and not taking responsibility for their actions, they should not be in this type of environment.”
She doesn’t believe that Porsha should be let off the hook because she claims that she blacked out before the attack. Furthermore, Kenya argues that any reality star who uses that as an excuse for her explosive behavior does “not need a stage such as this.”
Ultimately, Kenya knows that any decision about whether or not Porsha returns for another season of “RHOA” is totally up to producers and the executives at Bravo. “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen, who also acts as Bravo’s executive vice president of development and talent, immediately suggested that Porsha apologize to Kenya for the attack.
In Kenya’s opinion, no on should have had to tell Porsha to do that. Sympathizing with Porsha, Kenya stated, “She does not have the tools to navigate this process. It’s just very unfortunate and sad. If I was in her position, the first thing I would do is apologize.”
