Her husband might be facing some serious criminal charges, but Phaedra Parks isn’t the type of woman to leave her man hanging in his time of need.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” belle assured Andy Cohen and his “Watch What Happens Live” audience that she is not planning to divorce Apollo Nida…at least not while he’s in the midst of facing his latest legal drama.
“I have not filed for divorce. I’m still very married,” Phaedra said while showing off her wedding ring.
Not one to neglect her manners when facing an obstacle, she said she’s not going to abandon Apollo now. That wouldn’t be the appropriate thing to do.
“I will support him. We are family. He’s the father of my two beautiful kids and at the end of the day, I am a southern belle and I believe in family,” she said.
Apollo is facing charges of bank fraud and identity theft, and though he and Phaedra have been accused of crimes before, she made certain to point out that she is not named in the current indictment.
“I am not mentioned at all,” said Phaedra who will be there for Apollo, but not as his attorney. When asked if she would represent him, she said: “Hell no.”
While she’s known for always smiling and rarely sharing details about her personal strife, Phaedra did admit that she and Apollo are going through a difficult time right now.
“We are where we are,” she said. “I will support him until this is resolved.”
Fans can hear more from Phaedra and Apollo when Part 2 of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 6 reunion airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EST.
