Syleena Johnson blames Faith Evans for Grammy snub?

Syleena_JohnsonFaith Evans isn’t on “R&B Divas: Atlanta” anymore, but that doesn’t mean she’s no longer part of the drama.

According to Syleena Johnson, Faith’s name comes up during the show’s third season as the divas question why she was the only one who received a Grammy award for their album.

“It was presented to us as a compliation CD but not entered into the Grammy Awards as a compilation CD,” Syleena told The Huffington Post. “It was entered as a Faith Evans album.

Though she doesn’t want to assume the worst of the “R&B Divas: Atlanta” creator, Syleena admitted that she’s not sure whether it was an oversight or not.

“Faith sits on the Grammy board and she is literate with the rules. It appears to be—I can’t say malicious. It’s possible it went over her head, but I doubt it, but I don’t know. It looks selfish and like we were shafted,” she said.

Fans of “R&B Divas: Atlanta” can see how the drama unfolds when season 3 of the TV One reality show airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST.
