Sherri Shepherd grills Porsha Williams bout her ‘RHOA’ reunion row
Sherri Shepherd wasn’t going to let Porsha Williams make any excuses for her behavior at the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 6 reunion.
When Porsha dropped by “The View” this morning, she gave the audience an update on where things stand with her battery charges. The case stems from her fight with Kenya Moore at the “RHOA” reunion, and she’ll be going before a judge soon.
“Just like everybody else who gets charged with something like that, I have to go to court…Umm, you know it’s very unfortunate,” Porsha explained, speaking briefly about the lawsuit that she’s bringing against Kenya. “My attorney and I, we’re talking about that because the scepter that she had was super heavy. It was metal.”
Sherri didn’t seem to be buying Porsha’s defense that she was provoked. She told the recently arrested “RHOA” star that mean words and over-the-top antics aren’t a new thing among the Bravo reality show cast. “You knew what you signed up for,” Sherri told Porsha. “This has been more than five seasons! You knew what you signed up for! When you did this show, they do this all the time!”
Porsha continued to claim that she really didn’t expect that outcome that has followed her fight because this is only the tail end of her second season. “I didn’t know I was signing up on a show to end up with a mug shot—or to be bullied to that level!” Porsha said, pointing to Kenya’s behavior as antagonistic. “This woman has been bullied me and [showed] hatred toward me from day one and now she has weapons in her hand!”
Porsha concluded, “It was a horrible moment for me, and immediately I was embarrassed.”
