Apollo worried how criminal charges will affect Phaedra

Before he pleaded guilty to fraud and theft charges, Apollo Nida sat down with S2S Publisher Jamie Foster Brown to talk about the criminal charges he was facing, his marriage to Phaedra Parks, his upbringing, the reality show and more.

Get a quick glimpse and check out the full Q&A in the May 2014 issue of Sister 2 Sister.

    Jamie: You’re not nervous now?
Apollo:  I don’t really get nervous. And that is not just boasting or bragging.

Jamie: Phaedra’s not nervous about [the charges you’re facing]?
    Apollo: I’m sure everybody’s a nervous wreck.

    Jamie: But you?
Apollo: You’ve got to hold tight. At the end of the day, it’s like spilled milk. Hey, it’s spilled. It is what it is. I’ve had time to prepare, but we’re just waiting for it to all play out in court. I did turn myself in to authorities and they released me on a $25,000 bond. I was blessed to get a bond, thank God.

Jamie: but this is not racketeering?
Apollo: This is not racketeering. Of course, they would use that against me. But yeah, Phaedra—I’m sure she’s nervous because at the end of the day, “I’m putting my career in jeopardy, putting my connections, everything on the line dealing with you.” It’s bad for Bravo. It’s bad for me.
