The Hollywood Reporter completely misidentified the cast “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” confusing them with the ladies from “Love & Hip Hop: New York.”
Did Chrissy Lampkin make her way down to Atlanta? Has Olivia Longott made a comeback to VH1? Nope it’s just a case of mistaken identity.
By now most anyone tracking reality TV would be able to correctly pick out the cast of “LHHATL”–especially since the show returned for season 3 on Monday–but not THR! While reporting on VH1’s social media component for “LHHATL,” writer Natalie Jarvey illustrated her story with the cast picture from the New York edition of “Love & Hip Hop.”
Not only did The Hollywood Reporter get the cast wrong, they got the season wrong! The media outlet put up a picture of the season 2 cast from “LHHNY” that featured Emily B., Kimbella, Yandy Smith and Somaya Reece alongside Chrissy and Olivia. Take a look!
The Hollywood Reporter has yet to comment on the mix-up or replaced the picture with an image of the correct cast!
