Shay Johnson implied she might be one of the eggs in Lil Scrappy’s basket to which Momma Dee previously alluded.
Momma Dee wasted no time letting Bambi know that the former “Basketball Wives: LA” personality wasn’t the only woman in Scrappy’s life. Momma Dee didn’t name names, but Shay made it clear that she and Scrappy are still an item.
“She’s doing her with him, whatever they’re doing, and I’m doing me with him, and that’s the great part,” Shay told VH1.com about Scrappy and Bambi.
The former “Flavor of Love” contestant hasn’t been seen on the current season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” but she assured that even though Scrappy’s been focused on Bambi, she is still in the rapper’s life.
“I know what we have and I know where I stand and how long I’ve been around,” said Shay. “It’s unfortunate that the world has not seen that.”
What viewers have seen is Scrappy with former fiancée Erica Dixon, with girlfriend Bambi and with “friend” Erica Pinkett, who is the least of Shay’s worries.
“That’s something new that’s not gonna stay around in my eyes. It’s just irrelevant. Like it’s nothing to even talk about,” Shay said about Erica.
Shay didn’t want to validate Erica and Scrappy’s relationship by devoting too much conversation to it, and though she did comment on Bambi, she’s seemingly not threatened by that romance either.
“You can’t turn a ho into a housewife. Period,” said Shay who still seems to have a close relationship with Momma Dee.
“She happens to have an unconditional love for me because I’m genuine. I say what I mean and I mean what I say and she likes that about me, and she knows that I love her son,” Shay said about the undisputed queen of Scrappy’s castle. “I love her; that’s my second mom.”
Shay seems to have found an acceptance with Scrappy and Momma Dee that few women have been able to achieve, and she said that’s just one reason she’s not planning on going anywhere.
“I’m focused on is what he and I have, and that’s unconditional love,” she said.
