When Adiz Bambi first walked onto the reality TV landscape it was as BFF to “Basketball Wives: LA” star Malaysia Pargo, but she’s since hopped over to a new city and show as a co-star on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”
Bambi said she still keeps in touch with some of her “BBWLA” co-stars, but she hasn’t spoken to Malaysia since the NBA wife filed for divorce.
“I know how it is when you have something going on and everybody is calling you. I’m just giving her some time and some space to get her thoughts together,” Bambi told Sister 2 Sister in May. “Malaysia and I are the same in that way. We don’t really call and bother each other with stuff that we hear about.”
Bambi said she also still keeps in contact with Jackie Christie, Laura Govan and Draya Michele occasionally.
Though she’s still acquainted with the women of “BBWLA,” Bambi said she has no plans to return to that VH1 show, but she is grateful for the platform.
“The best thing is just being able to be a voice for women and just show people that not all reality TV personalities are just dumb, reckless people. I just like to show people that some of us are definitely educated and doing some positive things,” she said.
