KeKe Wyatt speaks on caring for her mother

KeKe Wyatt“R&B Divas: Atlanta” fans are likely familiar with KeKe Wyatt’s clashes with her live-in mother, and the singer has some advice for those adults who find themselves caring for their parents.

“I would definitely say if you’re married, do not move ’em into your house. Help ‘em with their own stuff,” KeKe told Sister 2 Sister. “It’s horrible, especially new marriages and couples.”

Though she’s glad she’s able to provide for her mom, KeKe said it’s not easy living with a parental figure who is used to being in charge. The two even went to visit a counselor to talk about their issues.

“Mamas wanna be mamas, even if they’re up in your house,” she said. “I’ve learned the hard way.”

Despite the tension KeKe said she will always be there for her mother.

“I love being able to retire my mother,” she said. “I love my mommy. I will always have a place in my house for her.”
