Porsha Williams hasn’t shared the identity of the man she’s dating or how they met, but the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star revealed that she’s no stranger to online matchmaking.
Porsha said when it comes to creating profiles for dating sites, honesty is the best policy.
“The first thing you need to put on there is a real picture, a current picture,” she told the “106 & Park” audience. “Just because it’s real, if it was 10 years ago it does not count.”
In addition to seeing what any potential suitor really looks like, Porsha said she also wants a man’s profile to hint at how much money he’s making and whether that there are children being supported with that income.
“Make sure you put how many kids you actually have,” she said. “You know you don’t have to put how much you make each year, but you definitely need to let us know how everything is spread out.”
When it comes to the question of race, Porsha explained that she would entertain interest from men other than African American. However, any man she meets would have to be culturally aware.
“I need you to be able to tear down some macaroni and cheese and collard greens,” she said. “I’mma need you to know how to go to church and catch the Holy Ghost. I’mma need you to be able to do all that if we’re going to be together. If there’s a White dude who can get down like that, come forth.”
