Apollo tells critics to trust Phaedra’s judgment

Apollo Nida wants Phaedra Parks’ critics to know that his wife is wise enough to know a good man when she sees one.

While many have questioned the quick-witted attorney’s decision to marry an ex-con who continues to have run-ins with the law, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” husband said she obviously knows something haters don’t.

“If I was a deadbeat, if I was no good, just a jailbird, whatever…You’re talking about an educated woman with many, many accolades under her belt. You don’t think with all of that, she can pick a man? Let’s think about that,” he told StraightFromtheA.com. “People don’t think about that part. There’s something that I had to offer.”

There’s been a lot of speculation about whether Phaedra would leave her husband after his most recent charges of bank theft and fraud, but she told “Watch What Happens Live” in April that she was going to stand by her man.

“I will support him. We are a family. He’s the father of my two beautiful kids and at the end of the day, I am a southern belle and I believe in family,” she said.

However, some eagle-eyed Twitter fans noticed that Phaedra opted not to include her husband in a Father’s Day message she recently sent out.

“Happy Father’s Day to all dads & moms playing duel roles!!” wrote Phaedra.
