Is Meagan Good a submissive wife?

Meagan_GoodMeagan Good admits she was once fearful of marriage, but meeting the right man is what persuaded her to get past those fears and jump the broom.

“I was really afraid of marriage; I’m such a free-spirited person. Then, when I met the right person—where submitting meant something totally different than what I thought—it just changed my whole perception of it. He really is my partner,” Meagan told Philly’s Hot 107.9.

While some may think of submitting as obedience to the head of the household, Meagan said hubby DeVon Franklin actually values her opinion and seeks her input. “I’m his partner…He really is my ride-or-die and I’m his ride-or-die,” said Meagan who not only loves Devon, she likes the man he is, too.

The Think Like a Man Too star and her movie-exec hubby have shared that they waited until after marriage to consummate their relationship, and Meagan said she’s no concerns about having sex with the same man from now on.

“Yes, I will have sex with him for the rest of our lives,” said Meagan who’s dealt with a lot of criticism about her attire as the wife of a minister.

Meagan said she’s not too worried about what other people have to say about her wardrobe because she believes she’s reaching those who might be turned off by Christian churches.

“I’m called to a certain generation and a certain kind of people and women. A lot of those people won’t set foot in a church just because of the judgment and because they don’t feel like they fit in,” she explained. “Those are the people I directly connect with.”

Though she might have a few haters, Meagan said she feels she’s on the right track and is pleasing God even with her plunging necklines and form-fitting attire.

“At the end of the day, you gotta keep your eyes on God and you gotta do what’s I your heart and what you believe is the right thing” said Meagan who believes her star status helps bring others closer to God. “It’s really about building the kingdom and everybody has their own job… We just gotta do what God called us to do.”
