Tameka Raymond confirmed that there’s truth to the rumors that she nearly walked away from the upcoming VH1 series “Atlanta Exes.”
“I definitely contemplated quitting the show. I never did quit, but I did think about it,” she recently told MadameNoir.com. “I got mad and at the end of the day, I don’t want to be involved with asinine or petty arguments, he-say-she-say and that kind of stuff. If it seems like we’re having debates over foolishness or something seems silly, I try to run from it.”
Tameka co-stars alongside Shanna Moakler, Christina Johnson, Monyetta Shaw, Torrei Hart and Sheree Buchanan on the VH1 series that’s set to premiere in August.
Though there’s usually a lot of drama when it comes to reality shows that feature a group of women, Tameka said things with her cast members have been pretty tame.
“We had moments where it was trying. You’re dealing with women and different personalities so you’re going to have your occasional spat here and there, but that’s how it is in life,” she said. “You’re not going to hang out with a couple of girls for months on end and hot have disagreements. That’s not even realistic.”
According to Tameka, singer Usher’s ex, she was approached about being apart of the original series based in L.A., but she declined.
