Tameka Raymond honoring son’s memory on ‘Atlanta Exes’

Viewers really won’t know what makes it to the screen until “Atlanta Exes” airs, but Tameka Raymond believes her storyline will center around her honoring the legacy of her deceased son Kile Glover.

“I am focusing on my foundation for Kile’s World,” she told Sister 2 Sister. “My goal is to open a school in honor of my beloved son.”

Tameka, who was once married to singer Usher, lost her 11-year-old son in 2012 after a tragic Jet Ski accident in Georgia.

While Tameka is optimistic that the VH1 show will feature her work to keep her son’s memory alive, she acknowledges that there will likely be some drama, too.

“Of course, we have our normal little spats here and there. It’s just like hanging out with friends…nothing serious. We all love each other. We have a great camaraderie now,” said Tameka who already knew Monyetta Shaw and Sheree Buchanan before taping for the series began.

Torrei Hart, Shanna Moakler and Christina Johnson are also part of the cast.

According to Tameka, the ladies all had to adjust to one another’s strong personalities.

“Everybody is different; nobody is born to be the same,” explained Tameka about the ladies’ misunderstandings. “We had little, small issues, but nothing major.”
