When Apollo Nida appeared before a judge for sentencing in his fraud case, he had to do it alone.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” hunk seemed “annoyed” when he found out that a judge had sentenced him to eight years in prison on fraud and identity theft charges. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, he even questioned why the judge handed down such a hefty punishment.
“The government did what they had to do,” he said upon exiting the court. Apollo was nearly at a loss for words after sentencing. When asked his opinion on the judge’s ruling he only said, “Whatever the judge gave.”
Part of his frustration could have been due to the fact that his wife Phaedra Parks was nowhere to be found during the hearing. “RHOA” fans are wondering how she’s holding up in this situation; one of her co-stars assures that the attorney is doing fine and keeping her mind on her multiple hustles.
“Phaedra’s doing great,” Kandi Burruss told HollywoodLife.com. “She’s basically working. That’s how I deal with things too; when I have a lot going on, I just put more into work.”
Kandi added, “I know that she’s promoting her book and doing the book tour and stuff like that and she’s not really trying to focus as much on what’s happening.”
