While rumors suggest that the recent “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” reunion brawl was primarily between the women of the cast, Stevie J said his former BFF Benzino was also throwing blows…at the ladies.
“He tryin’ to throw punches at chicks,” Stevie J told Hot 97 radio. “He threw a punch at Joseline [Hernandez]… That’s not cool.”
Though there were multiple tussles during the latest “LHHAT” incident of violence, Stevie said no one was seriously hurt.
“There wasn’t no knockout. There was some hair-pulling, some scratching and all of that,” he described. “It wasn’t even serious.”
Though some reports indicated that Stevie was the first to confront Benzino and that was the spark that ignited things, Stevie did not address his part in the melee at all. However, he holds Benzino accountable for allegedly inserting himself in the ladies’ fight.
“Let the hoes handle hoes’ business,” Stevie said. “Let the girls handle that.”
Stevie, who said he slept like a log after the incident, believes the cast members will be able move past the drama.
“I believe everybody will just gather themselves, and we’ll get back to business,” he said. “It’s all about the money for everybody.”
However, when it comes to their friendship, Stevie said he and Benzino are through.
“Once he tried to put his hands on my chick, I can’t be his friend,” he said. “I’m done with it. I don’t have no problem with nobody. I don’t want to be associated with somebody who wants to hit girls.”
