From Boyz N the Hood to The Best Man, her fans cannot get enough of the gorgeous and talented actress, Nia Long. Now, they’ll get a chance to see her on a weekly basis as she stars in WE tv’s first scripted series called, “The Divide.”
Nia truly loves her character, Billie Page, on the new legal drama. “I love this character so much. She’s so smart; she’s a lawyer; she’s a mom; she’s spicy; she has great wardrobe,” Nia told “Access Hollywood Live.”
On the show, Nia is a corporate attorney and is married to a district attorney, Adam Page, who is played by Damon Gupton. Being that the husband and wife are both lawyers, they tend to disagree at times, when it comes to the law. “Our perspective on law, often time we butt heads,” she explained.
“It’s such a fine line when you are married to someone who you sort of kind of indirectly work with. I think the show explores that grey area. What are you willing to give up? Where do you stand with your morality?… That’s what I think the whole ‘Divide’ is all about. It’s sort of the things we have to do versus the things that emotionally we want to do,” Nia said.
