KeKe Wyatt still skeptical about ‘R&B Divas’ return

photo by Aviva KleinKeKe Wyatt has learned a lot as a co-star on “R&B Divas: Atlanta,” and now she knows what not to do.

KeKe has been with the TV One reality series since its first season, and while she’s a fan favorite for many, she’s not sure she’ll be back.

“I’ve been offered to do my own spin-off from several different people. So, I’m not sure if I’m going to be a part of this season or not. I may be, but I just really don’t know if I want to,” she explained to Sister 2 Sister.

KeKe, who remains friends with former co-stars Nicci Gilbert and Faith Evans, said harsh criticism from viewers and real-life responsibilities have her questioning whether it’s worth it.

“People always want to look at things like I’m bringing a bad vibe in the room,” she said. “Half the time, I be up in there [taping], it happens to be a day that one of my children has a fever of 106 or 105, and I have to be there because I’m under contract. It just makes a mother feel horrible.”

KeKe wasn’t just speaking about viewers’ criticism. Some of her co-stars have pegged her as the unpredictable, moody one. Though they love that aspect of her personality at times, at other moments, they complain about her unique character.

“I just wish that people wouldn’t judge so much,” she said. “It lets me know what I do and don’t want to do on my own show.”
